DESCRIPTION:Join us at Dragon Parlor Games for our monthly 40k tournament! \nSchedule & Player Cap:\nDoors at 9:30\, Dice at 10.\nPlease arrive before 9:50 for check-in so we can begin on time!\n3-hour rounds with an hour long lunch after round 1\nCome expecting to play 3 games of Warhammer 40k! \nWe are capped at 12 players maximum \n Entry & Prizing: \nEntry is $20\, all entry fees go directly to prizing\nPrizing is awarded for:\n• Undefeated players\n• Favorite Opponent\n• Favorite Army\nAdditionally\, a door prize is awarded to one participant (who did not win any other prizes) \nFormat:\n2\,000pt (max) strike force lists.\nGames will be played using the most recent mission pack & tournament companion. \nRound pairings will be Swiss:\n• 1st round pairings will be randomized\n• 2nd & 3rd rounds will be paired using most similar win record\, randomized within bracket \nIn the event of bye (as a result of an odd number of players)\, we will strive to have a non-participant available to play the round. \nPainting is not required to play in our events\, but players will be awarded 10vp per game for being battle ready. \nPre-registration is highly encouraged! Join us from 11a to 1p for an opportunity to learn the game! Participants will be provided with decks to learn with as they are guided through their first games of Warlord: Saga of the Storm!! \nWarlord Sealed Event:\nEntry: $26\nTime: 1pm\, end time dependent on attendance\nFormat: Sealed deck\, Swiss pairings\nMaterials: Each player receives 1 starter deck and 3 booster packs with which to play with\nPrizing: 2 packs per player added to the prize pool \nOnce you’ve learned to play\, stick around for a sealed deck event! Participants will each be given a starter deck and three booster packs to modify their starter deck with. Then players will play paired rounds for an opportunity to earn additional packs as prizing! \nChallenge the Overlord:\nDo you think you have what it takes to take down the Overlord? After the sealed event Russell will be running Overlord challenges for those who he feels have earned the opportunity to face him. Speak to Russell for more details!
