March Warhammer 40k Doubles Event

Join us at Dragon Parlor Games for our doubles tournament!
Schedule:
Doors at 9:30, Dice at 10.
Please arrive before 9:50 for check-in so we can begin on time!
We are capped at 12 teams (24 players) maximum
3-hour rounds with an hour long lunch after round 1
Come expecting to play 3 games of Warhammer 40k!
Format:
Two 1,000 Pt lists per team
Games will be played using the most recent mission pack & tournament companion.
Entry & Prizing:
Entry is $30 per player, all entry fees go directly to prizing
Prizing is awarded for:
• Undefeated players
• Favorite Opponent
• Favorite Army
Additionally, a door prize is awarded to one participant (who did not win any other prizes)
Pairings & Scoring:
Round pairings will be Swiss:
• 1st round pairings will be randomized
• 2nd & 3rd rounds will be paired using most similar win record, randomized within bracket
In the event of bye (as a result of an odd number of teams), we will strive to have a non-participant available to play the round.
Painting is not required to play in our events
Players will be awarded 10 VP for being battle ready in each of their games per the mission pack.
Doubles Format:
Each player’s list must be a legal incursion level (1,000Pts) list
Rule of three and unique unit restrictions apply to teams as a whole
Limit of three enhancements applies to a team
Player lists can be the same or different factions with no restrictions
Your partner’s models are treated as friendly for all purposes
Your abilities can affect your partner’s models as long as those models have the appropriate keywords (Check your abilities most have keyword target restrictions)
Each team generates CP as a single player per the same rules as a single player game
Those CPs may be used for stratagems for either army
